On November 25, the first batch of twenty-one 20-foot pellet containers arrived at the Ust-Luga station of the Oktyabrskaya Railway. The dispatch took place on November 9 from the Lesosibirsk station of the Krasnoyarskaya Railway.

Transportation is organized for JS “Novoyeniseiskiy Wood Chemical Complex”, unloading is carried out at Factor Lesnoy Terminal OJSC for subsequent shipment of pellets for export to Europe.
The second batch of twenty-two containers was shipped on November 11, and the third on – November 16. In total, 68 TEUs followed the Lesosibirsk – Ust-Luga route. Shipments are made by PJSC TransContainer using a fleet of containers and well cars owned by the company.
Specialists of PJSC TransContainer carried out preparatory work for new transportation together with JSCo RZD on the Oktyabrskaya and Krasnoyarskaya Railways. As a result, the Ust-Luga station, which was previously open only for freight work with cars, began to accept large-capacity containers.
It is planned that the additional volume of traffic to the Oktyabrskaya Railway will be more than 160 TEUs per month.
