Main efforts of the new office will be focused on dealing with customers and partners who operate in the Northern provinces of China: Shandong, Shanxi, Hebei, Tianjin, Liaoning, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region and others.
These regions generate 18% of turnover between China, Russia and European countries. The North of China specializes in manufacture of electronics, equipment used in mechanical engineering, pharmacology, chemical and other industries; automotive industry, as well as building materials exported to Russia, the CIS and the European Union.
Currently, TransContainer is transporting goods from Shandong province in container trains to destinations in Poland, Germany, Hungary and the Czech Republic, inter alia through the Kaliningrad Region. At the same time, the Northern provinces are actively increasing the volume of import of lumber and food products (oil, flour, soybeans) from the Russian Federation, which should guarantee a stable loading of containers on the way back to China.
“Considering that the Northern provinces of China are most inclined towards the route through Zabaikalsk and Mongolia, and are also interested in short delivery time of containers to Vostochny and Vladivostok ports, there are all prerequisites for successful operation of the new office in Qingdao,” says the General Director TransContainer Freight Forwarding (Shanghai) Co., LTD.
