TransContainer together with Global Ports increases frequency of regular train dispatches from Nakhodka to Europe

PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group increases frequency of regular block trains dispatches from the terminal of Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC of Global Ports) at Vostochny port within the framework of the program for routes development and increase of transit cargo transportation volume.

“Thanks to the approved rules of subsidizing transit transportation in containers by railway over the Russian Federation our service is becoming more attractive and we have an excellent opportunity to test this route and show our European and Asia-Pacific customers the advantages of delivery via the Trans-Siberian railway in real terms, thus laying the groundwork for further growth of transit volume in 2021 by means of additional cargo base which used to be transported by sea,” noted Nikita Pushkarev, Sales and Customers Service Director.

The first train was dispatched to Malaszewicze station (Poland) on September 2, 2020; the expected transit time is 12 days. The train is made of general-purpose containers as well as reefer containers connected to uninterruptible power supply on route (diesel-generator wagon). This service allows to notably improve the route potential and makes transportation of our customers’ cargo requiring temperature control over the whole route to Europe faster and safer.

Dispatches of next block trains from VSC terminal to Malaszewicze station in September are scheduled for the 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th days of the month.
