PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group and AlianceTransTorg launched first block train from Kemerovo-Sortirovochnoe station to China with the support of JSC RZD and JSC KTZ Express. Due to organization of a new service the customers now have an opportunity to dispatch cargo from the railway terminal located in immediate neighborhood of the production site.
 
The first train loaded with 102 TEUs of timber was dispatched on September 18 and will run via Dostyk border-crossing point to Tuanjiecun station in China. The transit time will be 3 days.
 
The ceremony of the train departure was attended by Victor Kasatkin, Deputy Director of PJSC TransContainer’s branch at Zapadno-Sibirskaya Railway, Evgeniy Shapulenko, Deputy Head of Zapadno-Sibirskaya Railway, Dmitry Antipov, Vice Minister of Transport of the Kuzbass, and AlianceTransTorg’s representatives.
 
In future it is expected that 2-3 regular block trains will be dispatched from Kemerovo-Sortirovochnoe station every month and the number of cargo items will increase.
