PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group offered its customers another export service which can improve logistics of cargo dispatches to China: the Company launched pilot project on delivery of beer products via Grodekovo – Suifenhe border-crossing point.

First block train of 120 TEUs was made up and dispatched from Kleshchikha terminal in Novosibirsk on September 15. In consequence of convenient cargo transportation on “first and last miles” from the supplier in Russia to the ultimate consignee in China as well as shorter delivery time due to fast border crossing, the Company managed to switch transportation of the beer product from box rolling stock to containers.

Regular block trains are planned to de dispatched by this route on a monthly basis, in future there may be at list 2 dispatches a month.
