TransContainer Organized Flexi-Train to Export Oils from Tatarstan via Novorossiysk

Within the framework of increasing the list of cargo transported in containers PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group together with divisions of JSC RZD at Kuibyshevskaya railway arranged a train for a geared-up transportation of mineral and rape oils in flexitanks from the Republic of Tatarstan to Novorossiysk port for further dispatch to Turkey, Israel and China upon a customer’s order.

This is the first regular flexi-train of the company loaded with cargo from several regions. The train consisting of 58 units of 20-foot containers from Tatarstan, Mordovia and Udmurtia was dispatched from Nizhnekamsk station of Kuibyshevskaya railway on February 16. In three days the train will arrive at Novorossiysk port, after that the goods will be delivered abroad by sea. Next dispatch is scheduled for March 2021, in future it is planned to dispatch trains 1-2 times a month.

“Foreign partners show growing interest in high-quality Russian products thus inspiring searching for the best logistics schemes and ways of export transportation. Multilayered leakproof flexitank of 20 tons is the most in-demand packaging ensuring profitability and serviceability as a result of absence of unnecessary handling operations and it also eliminates external effects on the cargo during transportation,” commented Aleksey Bulytov, director of PJSC TransContainer branch at Kuibyshevskaya railway.

Attraction of cargo traditionally transported in special packing, including liquid bulk cargo, is one of PJSC TransContainer’s priorities. Thus, in April 2020 the company together with Ruscon Ltd. (also of Delo Group) launched dispatch of mineral oil in flexitanks from Volgograd region to Novorossiysk and further to Turkish ports.
