I’m sure the partnership between TransContainer and Global Ports in the IT sector will make a successful example," said Igor Yakovenko, General Director - First Executive Vice-President of Management Company “Delo”.

“We are interested in improving the operating activities efficiency and expect that the implementation of the Conterra IT system will increase the speed of container handling and reduce terminal costs through planning and optimizing cargo and warehouse operations,” noted Aleksandrs Isurins, President of TransContainer.

“In 2020, Global Ports and TransContainer successfully launched several services for customers together. Today we are scaling up this cooperation and are planning to implement a modern IT system at one of TransContainer’s terminals with the support of our IT-developer ROLIS. I’m sure that the pilot project will be efficient, and the wide network of TransContainer's terminals will create an opportunity for scaling our technological partnership,” said Albert Likholet, General Director of Global Ports Group, at the signing ceremony.

In 2020, TransContainer and Global Ports launched a joint project for the express delivery of pellets from Siberia to Europe via Petrolesport terminal in Saint-Petersburg, as well as regular dispatches of TransContainer trains loaded with cargo from the Asia-Pacific countries to Europe through the Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company’s terminal in Nakhodka.
