The Kommersant newspaper (No. 179/P of Sept 28, 2009) has published its tenth annual rating of the country’s top managers. A joint project of Kommersant and the Association of Russian Managers, the rating aims at identifying 2008’s most competent leaders in their industries and fields of endeavour.

The work of the top managers was appraised not by the performance of their companies, but by their individual personal reputation, which can be determined only by expert questioning.
The rating targeted the CEOs of companies and the heads of their functional divisions.

TransContainer’s General Director Petr Baskakov ranks among the three top leaders of the sectoral category “Transport”. The company’s entire staff congratulated him on the well-deserved acknowledgement of his professionalism by the community of experts.
