In 2009, 1.46 million TEUs were handled at the company’s terminals, which is 23% lower than last year.

In 2009, the revenue of JSC TransContainer under RAS amounted to 16.3 billion rubles, decreasing by 19.2% compared to 2008. Despite difficult market conditions, in 2009 the company earned a net profit of 22.1 million rubles. The company’s assets as of December 31, 2009 amounted to 27.6 billion rubles, which is 2.5% higher than the amount of assets a year earlier.

In the crisis year of 2009, the company continued to implement an investment program aimed at modernizing rolling stock and the terminal network. The total investment of the company in 2009 amounted to 3 billion rubles.
