On February 18, 2010, the international rating agency Moody’s Investors Service affirmed corporate credit rating of Ba2 with a negative outlook for JSC TransContainer. At the same time, the Moody’s Interfax rating agency affirmed the company’s credit rating on a national scale at Aa2.ru.

In its comment, Moody’s Investors Service agency noted the leading positions of JSC TransContainer in the railway container traffic market, measures taken by the company to reduce costs and increase business profitability, as well as a conservative financial policy and a comfortable liquidity situation.

Earlier, Fitch Ratings confirmed the international credit rating of JSC TransContainer at BB + and the national credit rating at AA (Rus) with a stable outlook.
