The delegation of JSC TransContainer participates in the work of the II International Rail Business Forum “1,520 Strategic Partnership: Baltic Region”, which is held in Tallinn (Estonia) on February 9–10, 2010 and dedicated to realizing the transit potential of Russian railways in the Baltic region.
As General Director of the company Petr Baskakov stated at the Forum, in 2009 the volume of transportations of JSC TransContainer decreased by 17.6% and amounted to 1,237,200 TEUs (containers in 20-foot equivalent). At the same time, he noted that the volume of the company’s investments in 2009 amounted to about 3.5 billion rubles, of which 2.1 billion rubles were used for the purchase of well cars.
