Nikolay Konstantinovich Averkov was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director of JSC TransContainer. In the new position, Nikolay Averkov will oversee personnel issues, tariff policy and marketing.
Previously, Nikolay Averkov held the position of General Director of OJSC Refservice.
Education – graduated from the Leningrad Shipbuilding Institute. After graduation, he worked at the Central Research Institute named after Academician A.N. Korolev.
Professional experience:
1973 – 1993 – served in state security agencies in officer positions. 
1993 – 2000 – Deputy General Director at the shipping companies Aqua-West, Petro-Russ Shipping, General Director of Sigma-Service Gid LLC 
2000-2003 – Deputy Technical Director, Deputy Head of the Department of External Relations, Rosoboronexport. 
2003 – 2006 – Deputy General Director, Acting General Director of Refservice MPS State Unitary Enterprise, Deputy Director, First Deputy Director of Refservice of JSCo RZD. 
Since April 2006 – General Director of OJSC Refservice.
