Expert RA affirmed rating of TransContainer (part of Delo Group) at ruAA- level, meanwhile the outlook for the rating has been revised from stable to positive.

The Agency rated positively competitive positions of the Company noting moderately little wear of flatcars fleet and diversified nomenclature of cargoes transported in containers.

TransContainer’s stability to external shocks has been also rated positively. The Agency drew attention to the fact that Company’s transportation volume growth is surpassing market growth and that TransContainer has increased its market share for the first time in a while as well as to competitive advantage of container transportations in compare with transportations in boxcars.

“We are pleased to note the revision of the Company’s rating outlook to positive. We believe that the change is attributed to a strong operational and financial performance, business effectiveness growth that the Company demonstrates under a new management team as well as to a long-term potential of container market,” – said Pavel Skachkov, vice-president for economics and finance (CFO) of TransContainer.
