The annual report of JSC TranContainer for 2011 was recognized as one of the best annual reports of Russian public companies at the ninth Contest of Annual Reports of Joint-Stock Companies in the Krasnodar Region. The award ceremony took place on 22 September in Sochi as part of the XI International Investment Forum Sochi-2012. 
This year the contest jury evaluated 96 reports of companies representing major Russia’s industries including metallurgy, power industry, oil extraction and refining, agriculture, transportation and finance in the following nominations: Best Disclosure Level of Annual Report, Best Annual Report of Industry, Best Design and Concept of Annual Report, Best Inaugural Report, etc.

TransContainer won the II prize in the following nomination: Best Annual Report in Transport and Communication.

“Our Company aims to improve information transparency and interaction with our shareholders and the investment community”, Julia Gelfer, Corporate Secretary of TransContainer, said. “We believe that this award proves that we are on the right track and may help to improves the investment profile of the Company as well”.

The Administration of the Krasnodar Region has been holding the contest since 2004 to promote higher transparency and openness of the Russian companies and attract investors. So far more than 550 federal and regional companies participated in the contest.
