JSC TransContainer dispatches grain in containers

In order to expand the export potential of Russia and to fulfill the tasks of organizing the export of grain to the countries of Southeast Asia, set by the Government of the Russian Federation, JSC TransContainer, together with Contrail-Byte Siberia, LLC, sent container train of 110 20-foot general purpose containers. A container train with a load of grain (wheat) was formed at the terminal of JSC TransContainer at the Kleshchikha station of the West Siberian Railway using a specially designed layout for the placement and fastening of grain in bulk. The cargo owner is OJSC SAHO Group of Companies. The train will go to the port of Nakhodka and then to the consignees in the ports of Southeast Asia without reloading in the port. The total transit time of the route will be about 25 days.
The use of grain transportation technology in containers for export deliveries avoids the costs associated with transshipment and accumulation of grain in ports of departure and significantly
