In the first quarter of 2011, the revenue of JSC TransContainer under RAS increased by 47.8% compared to the same period in 2010 and amounted to 6,262.7 million rubles. Profit from sales over the same period increased by 91.8% compared to the same period in 2010 and amounted to 911.5 million rubles. Net profit in the reporting quarter of 2011 amounted to 512.7 million rubles, which is almost 26 times higher than the result of the first quarter of 2010 and 26.9% higher than net profit for the entire 2010.

The positive dynamics of the financial indicators of the company is due to the growth in the volume of operations of the Company, as well as the implementation of measures aimed at improving the profitability of the business of JSC TransContainer. Thus, according to updated data, the growth in the volumes of container traffic of JSC TransContainer in the 1st quarter of 2011 amounted to 23.5% compared to the same period in 2010, and the volume of terminal rehandling increased by 16.3%.
