For 9 months of 2011, the revenue of JSC TransContainer under RAS increased by 27.6% compared to the same period in 2010 and amounted to 20,931 million rubles. Profit from sales over the same period increased 1.7 times and amounted to 4,004 million rubles. Net profit for the reporting period increased 9.4 times to 2,601 million rubles.  

The positive dynamics of the financial indicators of the Company is due to the growth in the volume of operations of the Company, favorable economic conditions, as well as the implementation of measures aimed at improving the profitability of the business of JSC TransContainer, including the optimization of empty runs. During the reporting period, the volume of container traffic of JSC TransContainer increased by 15% compared to the same period in 2010 to 1 million TEUs, and the volume of terminal rehandling increased by 6.8% to 1,177 thousand TEUs. The empty run ratio of containers decreased over the 9 months of 2011 to 34.4% compared with 39.9% a year earlier.
