On December 14, 2011 the First Branch Contest of annual reports and Web-sites of transportation companies Novaya Versta was held.
TransContainer won the following nominations:
- Best annual report of the RZD’s affiliate or subsidiary;
- Best level of disclosure in the annual report of the railway passenger and freightcompany;
- Best level of disclosure on the corporate Web-site for investors.
The contest was held by Gudok newspaper and Pult Upravleniya magazine to improve the transparency and presentation of and promote the corporate governance practices, and increase the investment appeal of railway joint-stock companies.
The award show was part of the IX International Conference ‘Transportation Services Market: Interaction and Partnership’. The contest participants included RZD’s affiliates and subsidiaries, and independent railway shipping, service, and manufacturing companies
