OJSC TransContainer successfully carried out the first transportation of cargo (glass) in open-top container along the route Kirov-Kotlas-Pechora.

Based on the results of transportation, the Company received positive feedback from the consignor. According to the customer, the use of open-top containers significantly reduces loading time, the amount of labor, which as a result can significantly reduce transport costs for the delivery of goods.

In turn, OJSC TransContainer intends to further expand its fleet of specialized containers to provide customers with new transport solutions.
For Information: Open-top containers are manufactured at a branch of JSC TransContainer – Shakhunya Container Repair Depot of the Gorkovskaya Railway. Using open-top allows transporting goods, the loading of which in ordinary containers involves the use of expensive handling equipment or tooling.
