angle-left null JSC TransContainer in partnership with JSCo RZD Logistics launched a joint project – a regular container train St. Petersburg – Yekaterinburg

The first regular container train St. Petersburg-Yekaterinburg left on September 30, 2011 from the SPb-Tovarny-Vitebsky station. It covered 2,300 km in less than 72 hours. The train is supposed to run at least once a week. Today, the third train will leave from the Northern capital towards the Urals.

“By introducing this train to the market, we increase the efficiency of using rolling stock, guarantee customers quick and reliable delivery of their cargo, reducing travel time due to the refusal of yard operation of cars on the way,” says Dmitry Morozov, Director of the Oktyabrskaya Railway branch of JSC TransContainer.

In its work, JSCo RZD Logistics pays great attention to the level of containerization of JSCo RZD. Therefore, in cooperation with JSC TransContainer, a container train was launched St. Petersburg-Yekaterinburg on the market, which ensures stable delivery of goods to both exporters of the Urals and senders of the North-West region.
