angle-left null PJSC "TransContainer" and Port of Dalian signed the memorandum of cooperation

On November 25, in the framework of the forum “Strategic Partnership 1,520: Caspian Region” in Baku, the signing of a memorandum of intent of strategic cooperation between PJSC TransContainer and Port of Dalian Container Development Co., Ltd was held.

According to the signed document, the parties intend to develop cooperation on the basis of the transport hub of the Dalian port, including stimulating the accession of the Asian-Pacific Region countries to the international logistics corridor Dalian – Manchuria/Zabaykalsk – Russia/Europe.

Cooperation provides for the parties to provide competitive rates for transportation, jointly stimulate the quality of services provided within the existing corridor, as well as the formation of a unified information system.

On behalf of Port of Dalian Container Development Co., Ltd, the memorandum was signed by Qu Wei, CEO of Port of Dalian Container Development Co., Ltd, on behalf of  General Director of PJSC TransContainer Petr Baskakov was signatory.

“PJSC TransContainer is one of the largest container operators in the Eurasian space, and Port Dalian is one of the largest ports in the world in terms of container turnover. Our companies are already working together on a number of projects. And we expect that the memorandum signed today will become a solid basis for close cooperation in the framework of the development of the Silk Road Economic Belt and will support further growth in trade between the APR countries, Russia and Europe,” said Petr Baskakov, General Director of PJSC TransContainer.

“The signing ceremony of the Memorandum testifies to the real friendship between PJSC TransContainer and Port of Dalian Container Development Co., Ltd, which will open up new horizons and prospects. This is a small step in the development of partnership between the two companies, but a huge step in the development of a joint transport corridor between Russia and Asia.
