PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group together with its Chinese and European partners has arranged test block train dispatch from Taiyuan city (Shanxi province, China) to Paris via Mongolia, Russia and Belarus.

Freight train of 50 containers loaded with consumer goods, construction material and electronics was dispatched from Taiyuan on June 2 and arrived at Brest-Vostochny station on June 19. Transit time over China was 3 days, Mongolia – 5 days, Russia – 7 days and Belarus – 3 days. The expected date of the train arrival at the destination point is June 25.

Within the framework of this shipment TransContainer provided rolling stock for transportation over area 1520 and arranged transportation from Zamyn-Uud border-crossing point to Brest/Malaszewicze border-crossing point at the border with Poland.

“Expansion of the transit routes network is a key development trend of TransContainer’s cooperation with Asian countries. This is our first transportation between China and France, once test transportation is completed and feedback from our customers is received, we’ll consider the possibility of rendering this service on a regular basis,” noted Vladimir Khlutkov, Asia-Pacific Business Development Director of PJSC TransContainer.
