JSC TransContainer reduces tariff rates for transportation of goods to major destinations from Kaliningrad in 20-foot containers. The average decrease was 20% or more, depending on the direction of transportation. For example, the cost of transporting goods in a 20-foot container on the Kaliningrad-Moscow route decreased by 35% to 44,700 rubles, shipping in a 20-foot container from Kaliningrad to Novosibirsk became 25% cheaper and now costs 74,200 rubles.

Reduced tariff rates for the carriage of goods from Kaliningrad are valid until May 31, 2012.

Rates are reduced in order to meet the needs of Kaliningrad shippers for rail transportation on competitive terms, as well as to increase the volume of cargo transportation in containers and rolling stock of the Company.
