Subscription of fundamental documents on equity holding deal between PJSC TransContainer and Freight Village Kaluga Sever Co. Ltd has taken place within the scope of Strategic Partnership 1520 Forum in Sochi today.

In accordance with the documents PJSC TransContainer will acquire a share in the capital of Freight Village Kaluga Sever Co. Ltd which owns two multimodal terminal and logistics centers in Kaluga region.

The key idea of the project is to establish a powerful distribution center outside Moscow Ring Highway that will allow to separate rail container cargo traffic arriving in Moscow into two parts: directly for consumers in Moscow and for clients located outside of Moscow Ring Highway.

Acquiring a share in the capital of Freight Village Kaluga Sever Co. Ltd will enable TransContainer to include modern terminal and logistics center in Moscow area into its technological network and to develop additional competences in customs brokerage and bonded warehousing sections as well as to enlarge cargo base by means of Vorsino and Rosva Industrial Parks residents.

Nilolay Kruchinin, Director General of Freight Village Kaluga Sever Co. Ltd, signed the document from the one part and Petr Baskakov, Director General of PJSC TransContainer, signed it from the other.
