JSC TransContainer continues to take effective measures to reduce the time for customs clearance of goods transported through the bonded warehouse of JSC TransContainer at the Zabaykalsk station.

At present, thanks to the efforts of JSC TransContainer, the customs clearance time for goods at Zabaykalsk station under the “Release for Domestic Consumption” procedure will start from 24 hours. Location of the department of customs clearance and customs control No. 3 at the BW will also allow to exclude the cost of delivery of documents and other information between the structures involved in the process of registration.

Previously, all customs procedures: screening operations, document control, verification of the information stated in the declaration and other control procedures, were carried out remotely in neighboring cities, which forced participants in electronic document management to repeatedly transport a documentary information medium to a distance of 120 km. The customs clearance procedure took three days.

According to the head of the department for interaction with customs of JSC TransContainer Semyon Butenko, “since the units of Tamozhenny Ekspert LLC are now located on the terminal territory, the services offered by their experts to our customers include such customs and logistics technologies as: preliminary informing and declaring, electronic declaring, remote release technologies, as well as qualified consultations in legal, organizational and financial areas of foreign economic activity”.
