PJSC TransContainer introduces a transport and logistics product for the cargo traffics in its own containers from China to Europe through the territory of Kazakhstan, Russia and Finland. Flat cars are provided by Kedentransservice JSC.

The first train departed from Ürümqi on December 12, 2017, consisting of forty-one 40-foot containers. Loading on sea transport will be carried out in the port of Kotka, followed by the sending of containers to the port of Rotterdam. This project uses containers of PJSC TransContainer that arrived in Ürümqi loaded from Europe, thus maximizing the efficiency of using the Company’s equipment.

“Due to the increasing demand for the transit of goods from China to Europe, this project is of particular interest. In conditions of intense competition, high-quality service plays an important role in the implementation of regular container trains along the East-West International Transport Corridor, which will reduce transit time and ensure reliable transport links between China, Kazakhstan, Russia and Europe,” said the Deputy Director for Sales and Business Development of PJSC TransContainer Aleksandr Romanov.
