TransContainer and Europlast Agreed on Cooperation when Arranging Raw Materials Transportation in Containers

PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group and Europlast Group of Companies have concluded Memorandum on arrangement and development of import transportation of raw materials for the plants of the group. The document was signed by President of PJSC TransContainer Aleksandr Isurin and member of the Board of Directors of Europlast Alexander Filipishin within the framework of forum Transport Week 2021.

As part of the agreement the parties intend to explore the ways of co-arranging logistics service with the use of TransContainer’s wagons and containers to meet Europlast’s growing demand for the raw materials required for production.

The potential transportation volume may amount to 500 TEUs per month. The raw materials will be supplied in big-bag packages from China, the main consignees will be Europlast plants in Russia.

“Cooperation with Europlast and use of our own assets and competence will allow us to optimize our partner’s logistics and increase import traffic by switching transportation of part of cargo transported by other modes of transport to the railway,” said Aleksandr Isurin.

“In the context of the global logistics crisis, it is vitally important for us to gain support of TransContainer as the main container transportation operator in Russia. In cooperation with TransContainer, Europlast hopes to find reliable and timely supply of raw materials to the group's factories, which will prevent additional expenses and price increases in the consumption chain,” underlined Alexander Filipishin.
