PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group and transport and logistic company Fintrans GL (a subsidiary of Ilim Group) have agreed to expand cooperation and organize a new service for transportation of Ilim products from Arkhangelsk Region to Turkey.

The respective agreement was signed within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

In accordance with the agreement, the parties will develop logistics schemes for export of pulp and paper products from Koryazhma (Arkhangelsk Region), where one of Ilim's mills is located, to Istanbul (Turkey) via NUTEP terminal in Novorossiysk (part of DeloPorts of Delo Group). TransContainer will provide its own equipment for the entire end-to-end service. It is planned to export about 2 thousand tons of products every month.

“We have been working with Fintrans GL for over 15 years now, during this period we have implemented comprehensive transportation solutions for export of product from Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk mills to China and Korea via the ports and border-crossing points of the Eastern Polygon. In the light of the geography transformation of the Russian producers’ foreign trade activity, we develop new logistics solutions for our customers. Our own assets base along with effective cooperation with colleagues from DeloPorts guarantee the stability of transportation throughout the whole multimodal export chain of national pulp and paper products,” said Victor Markov, First Vice-President of TransContainer.
