TransContainer launches regular public train from Khabarovsk to Moscow region

PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group launces regular service from Khabarovsk to Moscow Region. The train will transport consumer goods for the needs of small, medium and large businesses from Khabarovsk-2 station to Elektrougli.

This is the first cross-regional regular public service of TransContainer. Previously, only single shipments were carried out in this direction. The transportation time within the framework of the new service is several times less than in case of single shipments - it will take up to 10 days. The high transportation speed is ensured by effective interaction with Russian Railways with regard to route schedule provision for trains from Khabarovsk.

The first dispatch is scheduled on March 19, 2022. Initially trains will be dispatched twice a month but in future the number of trains will be increased up to four.

“The launch of a regular service from Khabarovsk to Moscow region offers our customers an opportunity to deliver cargoes in a short time and at an optimal price. It also reduces logistics costs due to a lower railway tariff compared with single dispatches. By reasons of rhythmicity and regularity the new service will allow us to increase the efficiency of the rolling stock and consequently reduce the turnover of flatcars,” noted Nikita Pushkarev, Sales and Customer Service Director of PJSC TransContainer.
