TransContainer Launches New Regular Service from Krasnoyarsk to Far East

PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group has launched a regular service from its own container terminal at Bazaikha station (Krasnoyarsk) to Khabarovsk-2 station of Dalnevostochnaya railway.

The first train consisted of 52 containers loaded with consumer goods for small, medium-sized, and large enterprises of the Russian Far East. The cargo arrived at destination point in Khabarovsk on April 23. As part of the transportation, TransContainer provided its own equipment and organized cargo transportation by railway.

"The launch of the new service will allow us to diversify options for domestic shipments in the light of logistics chains changes and cargo flow shift to the Eastern polygon. Currently we are planning to dispatch about two trains a month to Khabarovsk, and we see an opportunity to increase the number of shipments in the future," noted Nikita Pushkarev, Sales and Customer Service Director of TransContainer.

The company already has services to Nakhodka and Vladivostok from Bazaikha station. Prompt response to the market demand allows TransContainer to systematically expand the transportation geography and contribute to the increase in the goods turnover between the regions of Russia.
