TransContainer Launched Regular Service from Italy to Russia and Belarus via Brest- Malaszewicze

PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group has launched a direct railway service for cargo transportation from Milan (Italy) to the Russian and Belarusian regions via Brest-Malaszewicze border-crossing point.

The service is aimed at transportation of consumer goods for sale at retail chains. Within the transportation framework, TransContainer provides its own equipment, and arranges for cargo transportation across Europe, Belarus, and Russia with the possibility to arrange for trucking on the “first” and “last” miles.

The first train will depart from Milan on September 22, and in future the cargo will be dispatched on a weekly basis. The main destinations are Minsk, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Chelyabinsk.

“Launch of the new service will allow to expand the geography of TransContainer's shipments in international traffic. Together with our partners, we launched a new container depot in Milan specifically for this service, which will allow us to provide equipment to our customers promptly. By ensuring full control of all stages of transportation, we guarantee a reliable logistics service at a competitive cost,” said Nikita Pushkarev, Sales and Customer Service Director of TransContainer.
