PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group and Uralchem-Trans LLC (logistics operator of URALCHEM Holding P.L.C.) agreed to extend cooperation on transportation of mineral fertilizers in containers. A respective agreement was signed at St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Aleksandrs Isurins, President of PJSC TransContainer, and Vsevolod Kovshov, Director of Uralchem-Trans.

The agreement is aimed at strengthening strategic partnership and development of long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation in the sphere of arranging transportation of Uralchem’s products in containers of PJSC TransContainer. The parties will also ensure close collaboration for the purpose of prompt response to the changes in the transport and logistics services market in order to guarantee the most efficient logistics solutions to Uralchem.

“We are interested in a broader cooperation with Uralchem, we can guarantee this company a high-quality service and efficient logistics taking into account our own transport assets, accumulated experience and competence in container transportation. We expect the signed agreement to contribute to higher level of transportation containerization and increase in volume of non-resource export from Russia abroad,” noted Aleksandrs Isurins, President of PJSC TransContainer.

We can see the increasing share of containerization of transportation of finished product, especially niche field-specific and hi-tech ones; including the direct transportation from producer to the ultimate user. We are interested in further development of cooperation with PJSC TransContainer; signing of the agreement will provide additional impetus to interaction and let accelerate the improvement of transport processes at our enterprises via creating new logistics chains based on the container transportation,” said Vsevolod Kovshov, Director of Uralchem-Trans.
