JSC TransContainer (LSE: “TRCN”, RTS, MICEX: “TRCN”), a leading Russian company working in the field of intermodal container traffic and integrated logistics solutions, announces the appointment of Vladimir Vladimirovich Chisnakov to the position of First Deputy General Director of JSC TransContainer.

In his new position, Vladimir Chisnakov will be responsible for the development of the sales system and will oversee operational planning in the company. Vladimir Chisnakov was appointed as part of the company’s development strategy as an integrated logistics operator.  Previously, Vladimir Chisnakov held the position of General Director of JSC Russkaya Troika.

Commenting on the appointment, General Director of JSC TransContainer Petr Baskakov noted: “We invited Vladimir Chisnakov to join our team during the optimization of business processes in the company. We hope that his managerial experience in the container business will allow us to strengthen our leadership in the intermodal container traffic market to the benefit of all shareholders of the company.” 

Previously, Vladimir Chisnakov held the position of General Director of JSC Russkaya Troika.

Vladimir Vladimirovich Chisnakov was born in 1969.  He graduated from Krasnoyarsk State University. In 2002, he completed his study as Financial Manager at the Institute of Professional Accountants of Russia.  In 2002-2003, he worked as First Deputy Head of the Department for Economic Development and Planning of the Administration Council of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.  Since June 2003, Deputy General Director – Head of the Department of Corporate Infrastructure, member of the Management Board of Far Eastern Shipping Company PJSC.  Since 2004 – General Director of JSC Russkaya Troika.
