AlabugaExim LLC, the operator of a new container terminal in SEZ Alabuga constructed within the Deng Xiaoping Logistics Center, will render transportation and terminal services for PJSC TransContainer (part of Delo Group).

Deng Xiaoping Logistics Center will become a part of Ethylene 600 Industrial Park and the largest one in Russia. It will be able to receive e-commerce cargoes, components from China and send backwards polymers produced in the territory of Ethylene 600 Industrial Park. The designed capacity of the terminal will be 100 thousand containers per year.

The agreement between the parties was signed at the XIV International Economic Forum "Russia-Islamic World: KazanForum - 2023" by Vitaly Evdokimenko, President of PJSC TransContainer and Timur Shagivaleev, CEO of SEZ Alabuga.

The document was prepared in accordance with the agreements between Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group, Sergey Shishkarev and Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, reached during the meeting in September 2022, and as a follow-up to the agreement on cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan and Delo Group in the sphere of transport and logistics services in the region signed at the forum.

After commissioning the terminal will ensure an end-to-end service with a complex of freight forwarding services to TransContainer's customers, including supply and removal of flatcars with containers, loading and unloading operations, terminal operations, block trains formation, forwarding options.

Expected loading volume is 600 TEUs a month, unloading volume - 1200 TEUs a month.

The company keenly and closely follows the transport projects in the region, development of the local cargo base and measures of federal and regional support for transport initiatives. Cooperation with SEZ Alabuga is an important step in this activity", - said Vitaly Evdokimenko, President of PJSC TransContainer, after the signing.

"Considering the existing bottlenecks in container logistics, Alabuga, together with TransContainer, will ensure the development of logistics services in Russia. The project Implementation will make it possible to loop container supplies to China. The corresponding order was given by Rustam Minnikhanov, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan. Moreover, Deng Xiaoping Logistics Center will become a convenient logistic hub for the residents of the special economic zone, industrial park, as well as companies all over Russia. Alabuga plans to build all necessary infrastructure at a rapid pace", commented on signing Timur Shagivaleyev, CEO of SEZ Alabuga.

The new container terminal in Deng Xiaoping logistics complex in SEZ Alabuga will be located between the cities of Naberezhnye Chelny and Nizhnekamsk in close proximity to federal highway M-7 and Nikashnovka and Krugloe Pole stations of Kuibyshevskaya Railway (branch of Russian Railways).
