TransContainer launched new block train from China to Saratov region
TransContainer together with its partners from Kazakhstan and China launched new block train from Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region (China). The train crossed the border of Kazakhstan at Altynkol/Dostyk border crossing point and then moved through Kazakstan to Russia.
The first train started on February 27, 2017 from Kuitun railway station in China to Anisovka railway station in Saratov region, Russia. It arrived at Horgos/Altynkol railway station on March 2, where it was reloaded for further route through Kazakhstan to Semiglaviy/Ozinki railway station in Russia. During the test railage 82 20-foot TransContainer owned containers loaded with tomato paste have been forwarded.
The railage was operated by PJSC TransContainer and JSC Kedentransservice
The train arrived at Anisovka station on March 5. It took 6 days to make a 3 783 kilometers route including reloading and customs clearance at the border crossing point.
