On 19 February in Moscow, JSC TransContainer held a presentation of the debut placement of its 01 Series bonds on the Micex exchange. It was attended by about 100 representatives of the banking community.

Among the speakers at the presentation were JSC TransContainer's top managers led by General Director Peter Baskakov. The placement of the debut bond issue on the Micex exchange will begin on 4 March. The total amount of the issue is 3 billion rubles, 1000 rubles per bond. The term of the securities is five years. The issue provides for an annual offer and semi-annual coupon payments. The placement is organized by TransCreditBank, Gazprombank, and VTB.

According to TransContainer's General Director Peter Baskakov, the proceeds will be spent on implementing the company's investment programme. "The containermarket is growing, and to withstand competition, we need to increase our capabilities. It is therefore planned to invest the proceeds in highly profitable assets: in replenishing the rolling stock and upgrading the terminal facilities," explained Peter Baskakov.
