National Corporate Governance Rating Assigned to JSC TransContainer
On the 7 October 2008 the Consortium of the Russian Institute of Directors and the Expert RА - RID - Expert RА rating agency assigned Developed Corporate Governance rating 6 by the scale of the National corporate governance rating to JSC TransContainer.
Corporate governance practice of JSC TransContainer is assessed as altogether satisfactory. The company abides by the corporate governance requirements of the Russian legislation and implements particular initiatives in compliance with the recommendations of the Russian Corporate Code of Conduct and recommendations of the international advanced corporate governance practice.
According to the RID - Expert RА Consortium’s rating the company with "6-8" NRKU has low corporate governance risks. The company observes the Russian legislation corporate governance requirements, follows most recommendations of the Russian Corporate Code of Conduct and some recommendations of the international advanced corporate governance practice.
