On September 15, 2010, JSC TransContainer Board of Directors decided to provide charity support to victims of massive forest fires in central Russia in the amount of 2,592,401 rubles (including VAT).

Charity support was provided in the form of fifty-foot containers and cars belonging to OJSC TransContainer for sending sets of semi-detached houses to the Voronezh Region. Humanitarian cargo was shipped by the East Siberian branch of JSC TransContainer along the route of Batareinaya station (East Siberian Railway) – Pridacha station (South-Eastern Railway).
Recall that the forests began to burn near Voronezh on July 29, 2010. As a result of forest fires in the Voronezh region, hundreds of families were left without housing.
