PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group has arranged its first regular service on automobiles transportation in containers from China to Russia.

On July 4, 2021 the train consisting of 50 containers arrived from Dalian (Liaoning province) to Krasnoyarsk. Total transit time (including transshipment at Zabaikalsk-Manzhouli border-crossing point) took 11 days. The next dispatch is scheduled for July; subsequently the trains will arrive in Krasnoyarsk 2-3 times a month.

The service is aimed at manufacturers of complete Chinese-made automobiles, the sale of which in Russia is actively growing.

“This is the first regular TransContainer’s service on automobiles import. First of all Krasnoyarsk attracts customers by its geographical location and opportunity to distribute complete automobiles to the regions between Ural and East Siberia. In the long run we expect to increase the cargo flow and expand the geography to other regions of Russia and Europe,” noted Vladimir Khlutkov, Asia-Pacific Business Development Director of PJSC TransContainer.
