Financial Results for the first quarter of 2012 under Russian Accounting Standards 25 April 2012
OJSC TransContainer reported revenues for the first quarter of 2012 in the amount of RUB 7,739 million, which is 23.6 per cent higher than for the same period of 2011. Operating Income for the period grew 97.7 per cent to RUB 1,802 million.

Net Income for the reporting quarter hiked 2.5 times to reach RUB 1,284 million.
Company’s assets were RUB 36,796 million as of 31 March 2012.

TransContainer’s positive financial results were driven by growth in volumes of Company’s operations, favourable market environment and measures taken by the management to enhance business efficiency. Company’s container transportation volumes in the first quarter of 2012 amounted to 347 thousand TEU, up 10.7 percent year on year.
