Petr Baskakov was listed among the top ten leaders in the Transportation field of Russian Managers’Association and Kommersant business newspaper

The General Director of JSC TransContainer, Petr Baskakov, entered the top ten in the ranking of senior executives in the transport industry as part of the XIII Annual Ranking of Leading Managers in Russia, prepared by the Association of Managers and Kommersant Publishing House.

In addition to the General Director, JSC TransContainer was represented by three managers in the ranking of leading managers in Russia: Olga Miller, Corporate Governance Director (1st place in the corresponding category), Viktor Zhukov, Director for Marketing and Tariff Policy, and Viktor Markov, Director for Legal Issues and Property Management (3rd place in the relevant categories).

Positive factors for the professional reputation of the management of the Company were such factors as growing financial indicators, high assessment by the investment community of the level of corporate governance, achievements in the field of tariff and marketing policies, as well as the Company’s active participation in improving legal regulation in rail transport and effective interaction with state authorities.

“Top managers of OJSC TransContainer traditionally occupy leading positions in the most authoritative management rating, and we are grateful to the expert community for recognizing the positive results of our joint work. I would like to note that inclusion in the professional rating is for us not only an assessment of current activities, but also one of the future guidelines that provides an incentive to constantly improve the efficiency of key processes in the Company,” V. Markov noted.

The project “Top 1000 Russian Managers” exists since 2001. The rating identifies the most professional managers in each industry. The organizers evaluate the work of top managers not by the performance indicators of their companies (production volume, revenue, etc.), but by analyzing the professional reputation determined by an expert survey.
