TransContainer and REC Will Provide Logistics Support for Russian Export

TransContainer which is a part of Delo Group and Russian Export Center (REC is a state-owned institution aimed at support of non-commodity non-energy export) have concluded an Agreement on cooperation in development of export container transportations of Russian products. The document has been signed in the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum by Alexander Isurin, president of TransContainer, and Nikita Gusakov, senior vice-president of REC.
The Agreement provides for development of export transportation services using rolling stock and containers owned by TransContainer, joint efforts on designing and improving measures and tools for Russian market players support as well as implementation of initiatives to promote access of Russian companies to foreign markets.
“Non-commodity export is one the most promising areas for development of producer’s logistics by using container transportations, which is the most effective and up-to-date way for delivery. The signed Agreement will let us jointly with REC provide Russian exporters with optimal transport solutions and move services provided by Russian companies abroad forward,” – Alexander Isurin, president of TransContainer, said.
“The demand for Russian goods is growing, however exporters have been facing other limiting factors more frequently – overload of logistics infrastructure, shortage of conventional modes of transportation, port terminal accessibility decrease. Development of container  transportations in Russia, building of transport and logistics hubs shores up a foundation for export of domestic high-tech production, achievement of goals of the national project “International Cooperation and Export,” – Nikita Gusakov stated
