«Strategic Partnership 1520: Central Asia», Director of Strategic Development JSC TransContainer Yuri Yuriev spoke on the condition and prospects of the project JSC TransContainer and JSC «Kaztransservis» to establish a joint venture TOO «TransEvraziya».

According to him, the constituent documents to establish the JV to be signed before the end of this year, and his work «TransEvraziya» will start in the first half of 2009. «Today has completed a detailed study of the project and implemented the necessary corporate events. The establishment of the JV was approved by the Board of Directors of Railways in August this year, and already September 4 - Board of Directors of Open JSC TransContainer. Thus, the Russian side fully completed preparatory work on establishing new joint ventures. We hope that very soon our partners to complete all the necessary corporate procedures », - said Yuri Yuriev.

He also noted that market share TOO «TransEvraziya» in the market of railway container transport on the territory of Kazakhstan for the first year of operations is projected at 3% and by 2012 may reach 30%.

«We are convinced that our project will improve the efficiency of Russian and Central Freight logistics complex, as well as joint development of transit traffic on the Eurasian continent and strengthen the position of the space-1520 in the global transportation system», - said Yuri Yuriev.

The limited liability company «TransEvraziya» created JSC TransContainer and subsidiary of AO «NK« Kazakhstan Temir Zholy »- JSC« Kaztransservis »on a parity basis, the parties will receive a 50% stake in the future company. The value of the authorized capital is 4.5 million rubles. Movable and immovable property in the charter capital of the participants did not make. JV is created on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan in accordance with the laws of this country.

The main activity of the new venture will be providing a single cross-cutting services for the carriage of goods by Kazakhstan to Russia, Europe and the CIS in containers and rolling stock belonging JSC TransContainer.
