Million Rubles for Third Child: 18 families of TransContainer’s Employees Received Bonuses under Corporate Demographic Program

Eighteen families of employees of PJSC TransContainer (part of Delo Group) with many children have received one-million-ruble bonus each since launch of the Group's corporate program to boost the birth rate, support maternity and child care.

Maxim Filimonov, Director for Corporate Communications and External Relations of PJSC TransContainer, reported about it at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).

"Unfortunately, our society underestimates the extent of the risks posed by the current demographic situation. Speaking with our colleagues, we became convinced of the gravity of the problem and wondered if we could be of any help here. Therefore, due to the increasing number of family members a need for increased income arises, hence, employers need to look for financial incentive tools for employees, inter alia - to retain the company's valuable human resources. Such programs will result in a win-win deal for everyone: employees, the state, and society," said Maxim Filimonov.

Since June 2022, as initiated by Sergey Shishkarev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Delo Group, TransContainer has launched a pilot project to boost the birth rate and support maternity and child care. It is aimed at improving the quality of life of workers with children, developing social support measures and contributing to the implementation of demographic policy in the Russian Federation.

TransContainer became one of the first companies in Russia to implement a family support policy for their employees. In early 2023, the project acquired the status of a corporate program circulating across all Delo Group.

In addition to one-time bonus of one million rubles upon birth of the third and any subsequent children, the program includes additional bonuses upon an early termination of childcare leave and additional payments for sick leave during pregnancy and maternity leave. Employees also get compensated for child day care center and children's camps packages, they also have an opportunity to work flexible hours during pregnancy, when returning to work from maternity leave earlier than the child attains the age of three years and at the end of maternity leave.
Furthermore, a lottery for families of employees with many children was held for the first time ever in December 2022. 120 families took part in drawing, while 46 prizes were drawn among them - certificates to the online store with a par value of 10,000 to 100,000 rubles.

There are also some further improvements of support measures in progress now - since January of this year employees with two or more children have an opportunity to get compensated for a VHI policy for children under the program.

In May 2023, TransContainer launched a pilot project "Digital Platform. Social welfare for families of employees with many children". It is being implemented on the basis of an IT program provided by the Dmitry I. Mendeleev Institute for Demographic Policy. Within the framework of the project, an individual communication channel was established between TransContainer's social case manager and a company employee.

The use of such a communication tool makes it possible to promptly inform employees about corporate support measures. Subsequently, the channel's functionality is supposed to be supplemented with data on state support opportunities for families.

Social welfare will soon be extended to pregnant female employees of the company.
Furthermore, PJSC TransContainer prepared gift sets "Hello, Babykins!" for newborn children of employees. They include useful items for mother and child, carefully selected in compliance with high requirements for their quality, functionality and safety.
