PJSC TransContainer and Stevedoring Holding Global Ports (both part of Delo Group) launched a service for import transportation from the Far East to Penza.

Containers arrive from China at Vostochnaya Stevedoring Company (VSC, part of Global Ports, located in the port of Vostochny in Primorsky Krai), and then are sent by container train along the route Nakhodka-Vostochnaya - Penza-2 to TransContainer’s own terminal. Travel time by rail is 11 days. The service focuses on recipients not only in the Penza region, but also in other regions of Central Russia and the Volga region. 

First, the frequency of shipments will be two trains per month with an outlook of increasing. The first train with 137 TEUs arrived in Penza in January. The assortment of cargoes includes 11 items, including pulp, chemical cargoes, non-ferrous and ferrous metal products, equipment.

“We are consistently expanding the line of services formed on the basis of Delo Group’s own assets. The control of key transportation stages allows us to offer our clients optimal logistics solutions, ensuring the steady transportation and a high level of service on various routes,” said Nikita Pushkarev, First Vice President of Transcontainer.

At the end of 2023, TransContainer and Global Ports organized two new services for the export of imports from the VSK terminal – to Chelyabinsk and Nizhny Novgorod.
