TransContainer Arranges Service for Cargo Delivery from China to Moscow Region via Suifenhe - Grodekovo Border-Crossing Point

PJSC TransContainer (part of Delo Group) has launched service for import cargo transportation from China to Russia via Suifenhe - Grodekovo border-crossing point.

The route goes from Puhe station (Shenyang, China) to Selyatino station (Moscow Region). The first train was dispatched on August 19, it is loaded with 124 TEUs of passenger vehicles. The expected transit time is 20 days. The potential volume of transportation is estimated at 4-5 block trains a month.

Thanks to the e-document management, transit customs clearance was initiated well before the train's arrival at the border-crossing point. The customer provided shipping and transportation documents, after check-up of which the documents for the customs transit were prepared. This allowed to pass the border between China and Russia smoothly, as well as to reduce the time spent on paperwork.

"In the context of growing demand for import transportation, PJSC TransContainer is expanding the list of its transportation products to provide more options for routes and delivery time. We intend to keep strengthening our presence at key border-crossing points, offering our customers new cargo delivery services. Thus, this new service will allow to transport goods accumulated in the Northern provinces of China and deliver them to Russia in comfortable time", - noted Alexander Podylov, Vice-President for Commerce of PJSC TransContainer.

The existing network of TransContainer's routes ensures import of cargo from China to Russia via the border-crossing points of Zabaikalsk, Dostyk and Altynkol (on the border between China and Kazakhstan), Zamyn-Uud (between China and Mongolia). The trains go to the Moscow hub, as well as to Tikhonovo, Rostov-Tovarny, Kleshchikha, Shushary, Ulyanovsk, Irkutsk, Inskaya, Ekaterinburg and Vorotynsk stations.
