PJSC TransContainer together with multimodal service integrator Ruscon (both are part of Delo Group) plans to launch regular transportation of oilseeds to Eastern Siberia.

Test shipments of cargo have been carried out since July this year. In three months, 448 TEUs with oilseeds were delivered from the stations of Moskovskaya and Severo-Kavkazskaya Railways to Irkutsk region. The parties intend to increase the frequency of transportation to 4-6 block trains per month by expanding the geography: shipments to Irkutsk region are expected to be launched from the stations of Yugo-Vostochnaya, Privolzhskaya and Kuibyshevskaya Railways.

Within the framework of the project, Ruscon arranges for comprehensive freight forwarding. TransContainer, in its turn, provides flatcars and containers, as well as performs terminal handling of cargo at its own and third-party terminals. 

In 2023, TransContainer lunched transportation of grain, oilseeds and products of their processing from Irkutsk region abroad. Over 2.1 thousand TEUs were exported in 9 months of 2023.
