PJSC TransContainer of Delo Group and multimodal logistics operator SIGIR GROUP have agreed to develop joint service for cargo transportation by block trains from Moscow to Krasnoyarsk. The respective agreement was signed by Sergey Mukhin, Commercial Vice President of PJSC TransContainer, and Natalya Berezhnaya, Deputy General Director for Development and Commerce of SIGIR GROUP, at the international exhibition TransRussia 2022.

The service from Elektrougli station to Bazaikha station, which is adjacent to the terminal of SIGIR GROUP, is aimed at transportation of consumer goods from Moscow region for the needs of small, medium-sized, and large enterprises in Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Currently, TransContainer operates in Krasnoyarsk Krai, mainly using its own terminal at Bazaikha station. Its total area is 10 hectares, the capacity is about 4.3 thousand TEUs, the processing capacity of the terminal exceeds 150 thousand TEUs per year.

“Through cooperation with SIGIR GROUP, we will be able to expand the service from Moscow to our terminal at Bazaikha station and increase the number of shipments. Trains will be able to leave Elektrougli station on a daily basis, which will reduce delivery time, increase transportation volumes and TransContainer's share in the traffic between Moscow and Krasnoyarsk,” noted Sergey Mukhin.
